About iKYC
Who are iKYC?
iKYC was founded in 2012 as a specialist banking advisory firm. We open bank accounts for complex structures across 12 jurisdictions. Our team brings 55+ years of combined experience in offshore private banking, trust administration, and regulatory advisory.
Do you manage assets?
No. iKYC is a banking advisory firm only. We do not manage, hold, or control client assets at any point.
Do you work with EMIs?
Every institution on our panel holds a full banking licence in its jurisdiction. We do not work with e-money institutions or payment platforms unless the client specifically instructs us to do so.
Application Process
What does the initial assessment cost?
The initial bankability assessment is complimentary. Our fees apply once you instruct us to proceed.
How quickly will you respond?
We respond to all applications within one business day with an initial bankability assessment.
When do you approach banks?
We only approach banks after we have been engaged.
How long does account opening take?
The standard timeline is four weeks from instruction to account opening, subject to the bank's due diligence process and the completeness of the KYC file.
Banking for Complex Structures
Can you help after a prior bank decline?
Yes. Prior declines are one of our most common mandates. We specialise in repackaging declined mandates and presenting them to institutions with current appetite for the risk profile.
Do you open accounts in the name of the underlying entity?
Yes. All accounts we open are in the name of the underlying entity. We do not use nominee or pooled account structures.
What structures do you work with?
We work with discretionary trusts, purpose trusts, private trust companies, SPVs, holding companies, private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, AIFs, UCITS, family offices, private foundations, and international trading companies.
KYC and Documentation
How long do you retain client data?
We retain client data for ten years following the end of an engagement, in line with our obligations under Jersey and Dutch law and professional liability standards.
How do I make a data subject access request?
Please direct any data rights requests to richard@ikyc.com. We will respond within the statutory timeframe.
