We work from the underlying asset and the structure above it, and find a custodian that can hold it. The work covers physical metal, listed and off market securities, and portfolios held inside layered structures.
Physical gold and precious metals
Metal often vaulted since the 1990s, where beneficiaries now want liquidity. We arrange custody through a direct trustee relationship with the vault operator and the trading counterparties.
The trustee deals directly with the vault operator. No intermediaries between the structure and the asset.
Listed securities in trusts and foundations
Portfolios consolidated onto one custodian with the right sub custody network, rather than fragmented across several.
Listed equities, fixed income and structured products, held under a nominee structure on behalf of the entity.
Off market and restricted securities
These are the assets a standard custodian will not take. They are a core part of the work. We find and appoint the specialist custodian or counterparty that can hold them.
Portfolios inside layered structures
Where assets sit several layers down inside a structure, the custodian has to recognise the structure above the account. We find one that does, and present the structure so the chain of accountability is clear.
